  New VP of Finance named
After one search failed and another yielded only one finalist, Ohio University has named its next chief financial officer.

Stephen Golding, most recently the interim chief financial officer at Wells College, will succeed Bill Decatur as OU's vice president for Finance and Administration effective Sept. 1. He will earn $300,000 a year, making him one of OU's highest-paid administrators.
  Trustees approve $463.7 million budget for Athens campus
Ohio University's governing body signed off today on next year's budget, which relies heavily on an enrollment increase to make up for another decline in state support.

The Board of Trustees approved a $463.7 million budget for OU's Athens campus, up from $451.1 million this year.

OU's top academic officer announced this week the selection of a new leader for Ohio University- Chillicothe, one of OU's five regional campuses.

Donna Burgraff, dean of the College of Business, Education and Professional Studies at Southwest Minnesota State University, will become dean of the Chillicothe campus effective Aug. 1.
