Mary Lambert, of 17 Rallen Drive, Apt. A, The Plains, was found in room 229 of the Sunset Motel, 135 Columbus Road, at about 12:30 p.m. Monday, according to an Athens Police news release.
The Southeast Ohio Emergency Medical Services and the Athens County Coroner were at the scene shortly after Athens Police found Lambert unresponsive, according to the release.
Lambert was sent to the Montgomery County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The time of death is estimated to be between midnight and 2 a.m. Monday, said Athens County Coroner Harold Thompson.
All possibilities are being explored, including drug overdose, heart attack and homicide, Thompson said.
