Womens Basketball: Benson tabbed as player of the week

Redshirt senior guard Tenishia Benson earned the Mid-American Conference player of the week award for the East Division.

The award came on the heels of a 19 point and seven rebound effort against Ball State this past Saturday.

This is the second time Benson has received the weekly distinction this season.

Ohio will square off against Akron Tuesday night at 7 o'clock.
